Foreign Ministry announcement regarding the violent clashes in Kiev, outside the Ukrainian Parliament

We unequivocally condemn yesterday’s violent clashes outside of the Ukrainian Parliament, in Kiev, which ended in the loss of two lives and very serious injuries.

We express our concern at this sad development and support the Ukrainian government on its course towards adopting measures that facilitate the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.

We call on all sides to show the requisite restraint and composure.
