Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias’ Program during UNGA Week (High-Level Week of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly, New York, Sept. 22, 2016)

In the framework of the 71st Session and the high-level Week of the UN General Assembly in New York, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is meeting, on Thursday, September 22, with FYROM Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki.

Thereafter, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will take part in the meetings Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is having with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Foreign Minister Kotzias will also participate in the plenary segment of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly, where speakers include the Greek Prime Minister as well as Nicos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus.

Later in the day, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is going to meet with representatives of Jewish organizations based in the USA and take part in the EU-NATO Foreign Ministers Conference.

Last, Foreign Minister N. Kotzias will be accompanying Prime Minister Tsipras to the state dinner representatives of Greek diaspora organisations are hosting in his honour.
