Foreign Minister N. Kotzias meets with the Foreign Minister of Cuba, B. Rodriguez (Foreign Ministry, 21 April 2017)

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias had a bilateral meeting, at 12:00 today, with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla, with whom he discussed current issues of bilateral and international interest.

More specifically, the two Ministers looked at Greek-Cuban bilateral relations as a whole and explored the potential for further promotion of cooperation, mainly in the sectors of culture and education. They also discussed regional issues, with emphasis on developments in the Balkans, Syria and the wider eastern Mediterranean region. Finally a review was carried out of the present state of affairs in the European Union, and views were exchanged on the course of the Middle East peace process and on current developments in Latin America.
