The very good political relations between Greece and Morocco are due both to the traditionally friendly relations our country fosters with all the Arab countries, and to Rabat’s efforts to develop relations with the European Union and its member states at the bilateral level.

There is very good cooperation between the two countries through the mutual support of candidacies within international organisations. Greek-Moroccan political relations are at a very good level. However, there is always room for improvement.

The Greek community of Morocco is estimated to have numbered more than 3,000 people at its peak. Today, it has dwindled to a few families scattered around the country.
