Job Opening: The Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan is recruiting a full-time Secretary of the Ambassador.
Position: Secretary of the Ambassador (Locally-employed)
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in the English language;
Experience: At least 3 years of working experience after graduating.
Language: Proficiency in Kazakh, English and Russian languages; knowledge of Greek is an advantage;
Computer skills: Proficiency in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Internet etc;
Job description:
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone communications.
- Interpretation and translation of verbal notes and other documents in all three languages.
- Coordination with government authorities and private sector representatives on office tasks such as meetings, office supplies, banking, hotels, travel agencies, car rentals, etc.
- Organization of events, meetings, receptions etc.
- Following daily press developments and providing written reports on the current political, economic and social environment.
