Two (2) undergraduate merit scholarships 2021 by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece

The Embassy of Greece in Mexico announces two (2) Merit Scholarships of Euros 10,000 each, by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens to applicants who wish to pursue the “BA program in the Archaeology, History, and Literature of Ancient Greece”, starting in fall 2021.
Scholarships' application starting date is June 23, 2021 and the closing date is July 27, 2021 at 24:00 (Greece local time: UTC/GMT +3 hours); results will be announced by August 13, 2021. This four-year BA program is taught in English and is devoted to the study of Greek Antiquity. Aimed at international students, it offers a unique opportunity to study the culture of ancient Greece with on-site study of archaeological monuments and sites, such as the Athenian Acropolis, Delphi and Olympia. It can offer students the opportunity to live for a while in the country of origin of values that have greatly influenced Western civilizations today, e.g., Democracy, Philosophy, Art and Science, and get acquainted with its historic monuments and culture, by studying in English. By joining this BA program, they may also choose to learn Modern Greek by specialized teachers, seizing the opportunity to connect with today’s Greece through the study of the past.
