Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has awarded Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis and Greek surgeon Af. Kalangos

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has given First and Second Class Orders of Sretenje and Gold and Silver Medals for Merits to several renowned foreign professors, authors and academics for their outstanding merits in the field of public, cultural and humanitarian activities, according to the latest issue of the Official Gazette.

Upon this occasion, the Gold Medal for Merits on achievements in public and cultural activities, was awarded to the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis.

President Nikolic also awarded Prof. Afksendiyos Kalangos, head of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Geneva with the Order of Sretenje, Second Class, for outstanding merits in the field of humanitarian activities.
