Rising Stars 2014: Dionysis Grammenos

Clarinetist Dionysis Grammenos has attracted the attention of both eminent conductors and ensembles around the world, and he has performed with several of them. As a soloist, he has appeared at many of the major concert halls, including the Wiener Konzerthaus, the concert hall Minato Mirai in Yokohama and Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. Dionysis Grammenos has received numerous awards and honors, including the Athens gold medal for outstanding contribution to the music scene. Dionysis Grammenos is nominated by Megaron –The Athens Concert Hall.

Each year the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) selects a group of outstanding artists to become its Rising Stars. The six selected Rising Stars 2014 perform a concert tour across the halls of the ECHO network. The European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) is supported by the EU Culture Programme.
