COVID-19 Announcement regarding changes of opening hours and operation of the consular office

Due to the developments in the spread of the COVID-19 disease, the Consular Section of he Greek Embassy in Stockholm will continue to receive citizens only by appointment. As per 26.05.2020, the visiting hours to the Consular Section will resume to the ordinary schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 14:00. Telephone hours are extended beyond visiting hours. You are, therefore, kindly requested to contact the Consular Office prior to your visit at the e-mail address or at the following telephone numbers: 08 54566010 / (0) 8 545660 11.

It should be noted that, according to the guidelines of the Greek National Public Health Agency, crowded venues should be avoided, as the virus may be transmitted even by persons without any symptoms. Therefore, the number of persons allowed in the waiting area of the Consular Office should not exceed the number of three (3). Furthermore, children, elderly people and vulnerable groups are kindly requested to avoid coming to the Consular Office for matters which can be dealt with later.

At this stage, our main guiding principle is the protection of public health and human life and any precautionary measures which can prevent the virus from spreading further should be of the highest priority.
