The Embassy of Greece in Stockholm participated in the European Day of Languages, 29 September 2015

The Greek Embassy participated in the annual celebration of the European Day of Languages, on September 29, 2015 at the premises of the European Commission Representation in Sweden, among other Embassies, European Institutes for Culture and Languages and Swedish education authorities.

Hundreds of Swedish secondary school pupils had the opportunity to get acquainted with key elements of European languages, to test their knowledge in a language quiz and take part in a competition on Instagram.

The European Day of Languages is organized in 47 countries by the Council of Europe and the European Union, to celebrate linguistic diversity as a tool for achieving greater intercultural understanding and to promote plurilingualism in the whole of Europe.
