Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the arrival of Greek and Cypriot Citizens from Ukraine via Romania (01.03.2022)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on a special charter flight, is transporting 50 citizens of Greece and the Republic of Cyprus, as well as members of their families, from Bucharest.

The abovementioned citizens were evacuated from Odessa and Kyiv in operations carried out yesterday, which were successfully completed, in consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Katsaniotis will receive them at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, where they are expected to arrive at approximately 20:00.
