Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson’s response regarding today’s post by the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs (26.02.2022)

Responding to a journalist’s question concerning today’s post on social media by the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted the following:

“The positions outlined by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Dendias in today's interview with a weekly newspaper, are perfectly clear and unambiguous.

In the current particularly challenging situation for the Western world, it is abundantly clear which countries respect the fundamental values of the United Nations Charter, expressing their condemnation of unlawful actions, and which abstain, especially in the framework of International and Regional Organizations, such as the Council of Europe”.
