The acclaimed historian, writer and journalist, Mr. Pavlos Tzermias was honoured by the Greeks of Switzerland, on the occasion of his 90th birthday

On 9 May 2015, in Zurich, the acclaimed historian, writer and journalist, Mr. Pavlos Tzermias was honoured by the Greeks of Switzerland, on the occasion of his 90th birthday. The ceremony took place in the Greek Cultural Centre with the presence of Ambassador of Greece in Switzerland, Mr. Harris Manessis, who read a letter of congratulations of Greek Alternate Minister of Culture, Mr. Xidakis to Professor Tzermias. A similar letter of Federal Councillor, Mr. Berset was read by President of the Association of Greek Scientists in Switzerland, Mrs. Liana Fries, who awarded Professor Tzermias an honorary membership in the Association for his tireless contribution as an ambassador of Ecumenical Hellenism. Following this, the professor presented his most recent book on Eleftherios Venizelos.
