Tigran Petrosian’s Fantastic World In Istanbul
The Paros Magazine celebrates its 3rd Anniversary with a magnificent exhibition in Sismanoglio Megaro of the Consulate of Greece in Istanbul.
Tigran Petrosian, painter of Armenia who has become one of the favorites of the world’s famous and leading collectioners lately, meets art lovers in Beyoğlu İstiklal Caddesi in Sismanoglio Megaro of the Consulate General of Greece between 30 September-12 October. The exhibition with the title “Life is a theater set” bears over 25 distinguished works of the artist.
The curator of the exhibition is Mayda Saris. In her own words:“One can observe the soft touches of his brush ending in some perception of vitrification and bright coloured spot blending together successfuly carrying the spectator to on fantastic atmosphere. This is the artist’s most outstanding characteristic of his original painting style.”
Art critic Manvel Baghdasarian comments: “Our times change like the wind. They become modern and flexible… When we look for prerequisites to express actively the modeled mind of a person, we appear in blind alleys where we mostly need cosmic guides. We can meet those guides in the creative laboratory of Tigran Petrosian and we can also come into contact with them. Tigran testifies some lifes of creatures which confirms the changes of its parallel worlds in all times. All this is not complicated, but it is attractive. It tells about universal and eternal values. Tigran writes the book of his life just as he sees it.”
