The Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul seeks to recruit one (1) driver with a two-year contract

Requirements and qualifications

1. Applicants should be between the ages of 21 and 60

2. Applicants should have Turkish and/or Greek nationality

3. Male applicants should have fulfilled their military obligations or should be lawfully exempted by them

4. .Proficient knowledge of Turkish, both in writing and speaking

5   Advanced knowledge of Greek or English both in writing and speaking

6. Relevant previous professional experience in the Diplomatic or Consular Authority  would be an asset

7. Driver’s  licence required

Conditions of employment

1. Two-year contract

2. He/she should serve the transportation needs of the Consulates Generals staff, by driving the Consulate’ s cars. Working beyond standard working hours as well as weekends may be needed.

Interested candidates should submit their applications in person or via an authorized person in the Consulate General- Turnacıbaşı Sok. 22, Beyoğlu, İstanbul  or by email: (for the attention of Mr Christos Charopoulos) by October 27th ,16:00, local time (closing date and time of application).

The candidates should submit the following documents:

1. Short CV

2. Both-sided ID photocopy or, in case of absence, photocopy of all the pages of the passport

3. Recent photo (ID or passport) with the name and signature of the candidate in the back

4. Criminal Record

The candidates should submit, along with the application, all the necessary original documents or certified copies. All the documents should have been issued until the last day of the submission otherwise they will not be taken under consideration.

The selected candidates will be called (at least 48 hours ahead) to come for an interview in the Consulate General until October 30th 2020.
