The Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul seeks to recruit one (1) usher with a two-year contract

Requirements and qualifications

1. Applicants should be between the ages of 21 and 60

2. Applicants should have Turkish and/or Greek nationality

3. Male applicants should have fulfilled their military obligations or should be lawfully exempted by them

4. Hold a University degree/diploma

5. Proficient knowledge of Turkish, both in writing and speaking

6. Advanced knowledge of Greek both in writing and speaking

7. Very good knowledge of English in speaking

8. Very good computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel)

9. Organizational and secretarial skills

10. Relevant previous professional experience in the Diplomatic or Consular Authority  would be an asset

Conditions of employment

1. Two-year contract

2. Regular working hours Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00. During these hours, he/she should communicate with the public and the Turkish Authorities by working in the calling center and the reception of the Consulate General

The candidates should submit the following documents:

1. Short CV

2. Both-sided ID photocopy or, in case of absence, photocopy of all the pages of the passport

3. Recent photo (ID or passport) with the name and signature of the candidate in the back

4. Certified copy of the University degree/diploma

5. Criminal Record

The candidates should submit, along with the application, all the necessary original documents or certified copies. All the documents should have been issued until the last day of the submission otherwise they will not be taken under consideration.

The selected candidates will be called (at least 48 hours ahead) to come for an interview in the Consulate General until October 30th 2020.
