Civil partnership
For entering into a civil partnership, the requirements are;
• Physical presence of the parties.
• Application form (can be downloaded here).
• Valid passport or Greek police Identity Card ,(‘new-type’ i.d. -names in Latin alphabet and preferably not older than 15 years)
• DRAFT of the Civil Partnership agreement in Word Format that must be emailed to
prior to the appointment.
• Recent Family Status Certificate of the parties which proves their ‘single status’ (issued by the Municipality in Greece).
• Pre-booked appointment via emailing the Consular Office in a sufficient time in advance at

Please note: For the time being, Civil Partnership agreements are contracted only between two Greek nationals of a Greek national and a national of a EU member state whose lawful residence in the UK is not conditional on any preliminary formalities.
| Consular Fees | The equivalent of 100 Euros in GBP for the deed and 10 Euros per sheet for its copy. In addition, the equivalent of 10 Euros in GBP for the Registry Deed and 10 Euros in GBP for each copy. Payment by cash, UK-issued credit or debit card. You can see the Consular Tariff in detail. In every document that requires authentication of the original signature, this is priced at 10 Euros for Greek and EU citizens and 30 Euros for citizens of third countries in LA. |
