Issuance of Marriage License
The bride and groom attend the Consular Office with their valid passport or ID card and each party completes the following:
- Application
- Authorisation
- Solemn Declaration of No Impediment to Marriage
The completed documents are sent to the authorised person, who submits them to the competent Municipality for the issuance of the marriage license and birth certificate.
An Apostille stamp is only required in the event that the marriage license and birth certificate are to be submitted to the competent British Authorities.
Fees: | Declaration 10€ or equivalent in Sterling. Copy 10€ or equivalent in Sterling. Payment in cash or by UK issued debit or credit card. See section Consular Fees for itemised fees. |
