Attention: Αll the male Greek citizens, who were born in 2007, are obliged to fill in and send to their Military Office in Greece, the enumeration sheet within the period 2.1.2025-31.3.2025 Online declaration of loss of Greek passport or ID card Greek citizens are now able to declare online the loss of their Greek ID card or passport, provided that the citizen holds a TaxisNet or web banking account. Alternatively, they candeclare the loss at their closest Greek Consular Authority. Attention: In accordance with the Community Code on Visas short term visitors to Greece (and to the Schengen area in general) must be in possession of a valid travel document. ETA authorisation will be needed for entry of Greek citizens in the UK from 2 April 2025

It has been announced by the competent UK authorities that Greek citizens, as well as citizens of other EU countries will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) in order to enter the UK for short period of stay from 2 April 2025. The will be able to submit an ETA application from 5 March 2025 taking a processing time of at least 3 days into account.

UK ETA will have a 2 year duration, be valid for multiple entries and will be needed even for all points of entry and also for transit travels. A photo of the applicant and their passport will be required, answer to some questions and the payment of a 10 GBP fee.

The following categories are exempt from the ETA obligation: a) UK/Irish passport holders, b) permanent residents in the UK (including settled and pre-settled status holders), c) people who are required to submit standard visitor visa application for short stay in the UK.
