Exports up 3pct in January
Greek exports rose 3 percent in January, continuing an upward course, the independent Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said Tuesday.
ELSTAT, in a report, said that the total value of imports-arrivals, excluding oil products, in January 2013 amounted to 2344.0 million euros against 2299.4 million euros in January 2012, recording an increase of 1.9%.
The total value of exports-dispatches, excluding oil products, for the 12-month time period of February 2012 - January 2013 increased by 3.9% compared to the corresponding 12-month time period of February 2011 - January 2012.amna
The total value of imports-arrivals, excluding oil products, for the 12-month time period of February 2012 - January 2013 decreased by 4.6% compared to the corresponding 12-month time period of February 2011 - January 2012.
The total value of exports-dispatches, excluding oil products, in January 2013 amounted to 1284.6 million euros against 1247.2 million euros in January 2012, recording an increase of 3.0%.
