Online declaration of loss of Greek passport or ID card Greek citizens are now able to declare online the loss of their Greek ID card or passport, provided that the citizen holds a TaxisNet or web banking account. Alternatively, they candeclare the loss at their closest Greek Consular Authority. Attention: In accordance with the Community Code on Visas short term visitors to Greece (and to the Schengen area in general) must be in possession of a valid travel document. The Travel document’s validity shall extend at least three months after the intended date of departure from Greece (or the Schengen area in general), and it shall have been issued within the previous 10 years Attention: ETA authorisation will be needed for entry of Greek citizens in the UK from 2 April 2025

A conference, hosted by the UK delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, entitled «Approaching the Summit 2014», was held at the Foreign Office (Locarno Suite, 2 September 2014). Greece was represented by Mr. Evrypidis Stylianidis, MP, Head, Greek Delegation to the NATO PA, and Mr. Evangelos Basiakos, MP.

The conference was addressed by the following speakers: Hugh Bayley MP, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Gen Sir Nicholas Houghton GBE CBE, UK Chief of the Defence Staff, Tobias Ellwood MP, UK Foreign Office Minister, Rt Hon Sir Menzies Campbell CH CBE QC MP, Leader of the UK Delegation to the NATO PA, Amb. Alexander Vershbow, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Sven Mikser, Defence Minister of Estonia, Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, Federica Mogherini, Foreign Minister of Italy, Amb. Douglas Lute, US Permanent Representative to NATO, and the Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, UK Foreign Secretary. Later that day the British Prime Minister, the Rt Hon David Cameron MP, hosted a reception for participants at the conference at 10, Downing Street.
