Celebration of the International day of the Greek Language (07.02.2020)
On the occasion of the 2020 International Greek Language Day, the Consulate General of Greece in Boston hosted a lecture by Gregory Nagy, Francis Jones Professor of Classical Greek Literature, Professor of Comparative Literature, and Director of the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University.The talk was followed by a musical performance by the acclaimed musician and accomplished vocalist PanayotaHaloulakou, performed with her quartet original compositions based on OdysseasElytis's poems from his poetic cycles "Orientations"(1939), "Six and One Remorses for the Sky" (1960), and "The Ro of Eros" (1972).
