Annual commemoration in honor of the Greek Jewry Holocaust victims

The annual commemoration of the Holocaust of the Greek Jewry took place on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Greek Press and Communication Office. The event was organized by the Consulate General in collaboration with the American Friends of the Jewish Museum of Greece. The program included a presentation «Γλυκιά μου Σαλονίκη: memories of Greece» by Professor Katherine Fleming, a welcome speech by the Consul General Mr. G. Ιliopoulos, a prayer by Rabbi M. Cohen, a  greeting by the President of the American Friends of the Jewish Museum of Greece, Mr. S. Asser and closing remarks by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America.
