Christmas Carols at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, Friday, December 16h, 2022
On Friday, December 16th a very joyful event took place at the Consulate General of Greece in New York. Students from Greek schools in New York performed Christmas carols and other Christmas tunes.
The Consul General of Greece in New York Dinos Konstantinou welcomed students from the
School of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan, the " Argyrios Fantis" School of the Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helen in Brooklyn, and the Hellenic Classical Charter School, of Staten Island (HCCS), to the House of Greece for the celebration of the most beautiful holiday of the year and emphasized that they should feel proud of their Greek origin.
The students gave the Consul General and all those present wishes for Christmas and the New Year and then they sang Carols, classic Christmas songs, and other Christmas tunes. The event ended with all the students around the Consul General singing New Year's Carols.
The event was attended by the Head of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert, the Director of the Cathedral School, Meropi Kyriakou, the Director of the Greek Department of the " Argyrios Fantis; School, Panagiota Lilikakis, teachers of the three schools as well as diplomats and staff of the Consulate General.
