Decoration of Mr. Georgios Koumantaros by the Hellenic Republic

11.07.2012: Mr. Georgios Koumantaros was decorated with the Golden Cross of the Order of Phoenix by the Consul General of Greece  Georgios Iliopoulos, in the presence of the Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations, Ambassador Anastassis Mitsialis. The prominent Greek ship-owner and entrepreneur was honored by the Hellenic Republic, in recognition for his services to Hellenism in the United States and Nigeria, as well as for his contribution to his hometown of Sparta.
