Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry

The Consulate General of Greece in New York hosted the annual “Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry” at the Greek Press and Communication Office. Historian Alexander Kitroeff, Associate Professor of History at Haverford College, made a presentation on “The Holocaust and the Jews in Athens”. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and Rabbi Martin R. Cohen, Professor of Jewish History at the Hebrew Union College and Spiritual Leader of the American Friends of the Jewish Museum of Greece honored the event with their presence.
