Information required for military recruitment purposes

All Greek male citizens born in 1997, are requested to present themselves to the Armed Forces Department of the Consulate General of Greece in New York, until March 31st, 2015, to submit required information with regards to the national military service (address, telephone number, level of education, etc.).

The information can be submitted, by appointment only, either by the individual himself or by parents.

All applicants should provide a certificate of male registry from a municipality in Greece. A Greek ID or passport should also be presented (not US driving license).

Please note that a fine will be imposed on any individual that fails to submit the required information by the March 31st, 2015 deadline.
