Notice of Vacancy for a phone operator on a two-year contract at the Consulate General of Greece in New York.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate at the time of employment should be at least 21 years old, have a residence and work permit or American citizenship.

Selection criteria:

• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English enabling to communicate and write in both languages.
• High School Diploma or GED (University education attested by a diploma would be a strong asset)
• Proficient in various computer programs (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Professional experience of at least 1 year in administrative matters
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to adapt to different situations and to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility in terms of presence and working hours
