Official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. E. Venizelos in New York

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Evangelos Venizelos met, on Sunday  September 21st 2014, at the Consulate General, elected representatives of the Greek Community, in particular leaders of Federations and Professional or National Organizations.

On Monday September 22nd 2014, Mr. E. Venizelos met Archbishop Demetrios of America at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Later that day, the Deputy Prime Minister met with representatives of American Jewish Organizations at the Greek Press and Communication Office (Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, American Jewish Committee, American Israel Public Affairs Committee, World Jewish Congress, B’nai Brith, Anti-Defamation League and National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry). In the evening, Mr. Venizelos addressed an American Jewish Committee event on anti-Semitism in Europe.
