Opening of the art exhibition "Greek American Women in Arts. Creativity and Talent"

The opening of the art exhibition "Greek American Women in Arts. Creativity and Talent" took place on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at the renovated cultural hall of the Consulate General of Greece in New York, in cooperation with the the Hellenic American Women's Council (HAWC).

Works of the artists - members of HAWC, Gloria Ruiz Duzoglou, Morfy Gikas, Olivia Koopalethes, Chrysoula Lile, Aspasia Melis and Mahy Polymeropoulos are on display.

The Consulate General of Greece in New York, Dr Konstantinos Koutras addressed the audience and the exhibition was presented by the regional Director of HAWC Mrs Alice Chalkias.

The opening was attended by academics, businessmen, artists, members of the Greek-American Community and journalists.

The exhibition will run until December 20th, Monday to Friday, 09:00a.m. - 14:30p.m.
