Consul Papanikolaou speaks on “Energy developments in the Eastern Mediterranean” during energy program

On May 7, 2013, Consul Papanikolaou was among the main speakers at the energy breakfast organized by Locke & Lord LLP in Houston. During his speech Consul Papanikolaou presented the energy opportunities opening up in the region and how these can affect the geopolitical equilibrium in the area. More important, he analyzed the goals of the Greek government in respect to the recent energy developments in the east med area, namely its efforts to contribute in the energy mix supply as a potential producer/exporter and its unique capacity to act as the main transit and trading hub for east med, Middle East and Caspian energy resources. During the event he also met with many energy business executives interested in learning about the prospects of doing business in Greece.
