Consul Papanikolaou speaks to young professionals of the American Jewish Community (AJC) of Houston

On Thursday, November 29, Consul Papanikolaou spoke to young professionals of the American Jewish Community (AJC) of Houston.

The topic of discussion was entitled “Economy and geopolitics in the Mediterranean: The View from Greece,” and was chosen for a more holistic view of the current financial situation in Greece from a Greek official rather than relying solely on what the American media is providing. The Consul gave a speech in regards to the present status of the Greek financial crisis the objective of the Greek foreign policy and the status of the bilateral relations of Greece with Israel and the rest of its Mediterranean neighbors. His speech was followed by a brief Q&A session.
