The Consulate of Greece in Houston

is seeking to hire a Messenger at the Consulate, with a temporary full time contract of two years, with the possibility of potential renewal.

Qualifications:

- US citizens (passport holders) or US permanent residents

- Age of at least 21 years old at the time of employment and not over 60 years old

- Fluency in English language

- Fluency in Greek language

- If male Greek citizens, must have completed their Greek military obligation or have obtained relevant deferment.

- Willing to work beyond normal hours

- Confidentiality and Effectiveness

- Proof of Criminal Records

- Holder of U.S. driver’s license

Included as part of the expected responsibilities is communication with the citizens, provision of requested information, managing the call center, secretarial and administration duties of the various sectors of the Consulate, as well as carrying out various errands outside the Consulate.
