Greece and the United States have been strategic partners for many decades now. From politics to culture, the history of this long and strong relationship has produced a robust and mutually beneficial partnership to the benefit of our citizens. Indeed, these ties are based on common values and beliefs. Love for Freedom and Democracy are core ideas that both our nations cherish deeply, inspired by the legacy and heritage of Ancient Greece.

The flourishing Greek American community in the United States is the human link joining the peoples of our two countries. We are all proud of their accomplishments and their commitment and continuous efforts towards enhancing the bonds between the two countries.
