Statement of Foreign Minister Avramopoulos on the bombing attack at the Boston Marathon

Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos made the following statement from London on the bombing attack at the Boston Marathon:

“The Greek government expresses its absolute condemnation and abhorrence of the barbarous attack on the Boston Marathon.

It is an attack on all of us. Against the symbolism of the Marathon and the values it represents.

In these difficult hours, our thoughts are with the injured and the families of the victims. Greece stands at your side.”
